Security Check and Fraud Prevention

We are passionate about protecting our customers and keeping you safe while shopping online.

Each order that is placed with MXstore, whether it was placed via phone, eBay or on our website will go through a system security check. All orders placed must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our credit and payment security department.

Please note that our system picks up orders based on a number of factors including:

  • High valued orders
  • Credit card origin
  • IP and ISP information
  • GEO location from when the order was placed.

If we have been notified by our security system of a particular order, we may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order and we will do what we call a Money Drop.

How does this work: A small-dollar amount will be refunded back to the payment method used, this can take up to 3 business days to appear in your bank account. Once the customer correctly confirms the amount of money dropped, we can verify the order and your MXstore Account!

Gift Vouchers that have been flagged for a security check will be in a held status and be unusable until Moneydrop is confirmed. Once confirmed the Gift Voucher will be re-activated.

We make every effort to quickly review and process orders which are flagged to ensure a speedy delivery while maintaining a high level of security and service.

We hold the order for 7 days. Failure to comply with such requests from MXstore will result in the order being canceled and the funds being refunded in full back to the original payment method and future orders will not be able to be placed using this method.

MXstore will do all we can to ensure a fun and safe shopping experience for every one of our customers. Most importantly, to protect not only MXstore but our customers, so you feel confident when placing an order with us!

PLEASE KINDLY NOTE:
We will strive to dispatch all orders placed before 2 pm that undergo a security check if your details are confirmed by 4 pm the same day. However, due to the nature of our work, this is not something we can always guarantee. We are unable to refund any shipping costs for orders being held until the following business day if we have been unsuccessful in our attempts to contact you. Once your details have been confirmed, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse as soon as possible.
